Improve the quality, improve the image, and be a respected psychiatrist. With the theme of "civilization and sunshine", the 15th annual meeting of the psychiatrist branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association (CPA 2019) was held in Xi'an on April 12. More than 3,500 domestic and foreign psychiatrists gathered together to discuss the development of mental health in China. Sponsored by the editorial board of "New Perspectives in Psychiatry" and undertaken by Shenzhen Pangu Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., the "New Perspectives in Psychiatry" symposium was successfully held on April 12 in Conference Room 208-210 of Qujiang International Conference Center. Three professors, Wang Gaohua, Hao Wei, and Fang Yiru, were invited to chair the meeting, and three professors, Si Tianmei, Wang Huiling, and Li Yi, were the speakers. The symposium is divided into three parts: "Rehabilitation and Treatment of Patients with Schizophrenia", "Sleep Management of Patients with Schizophrenia" and "The 'Chain' of Essence", which attracted more than 200 physicians to attend.
Prof. Wang Gaohua, Prof. Hao Wei and Prof. Fang Yiru presided over the meeting.
Professor Si Tianmei, deputy director of the Psychiatry Branch of the Chinese Medical Association and editorial board member of the Chinese version of COP, gave a special speech on "Rehabilitation and Treatment of Patients with Schizophrenia", pointing out that the purpose of treatment for schizophrenia is rehabilitation, and a single dose of antipsychotic drugs for patients with schizophrenia After treatment, the probability of relapse is very high, and patients with schizophrenia should adhere to long-term treatment.
Professor Wang Huiling, member of the Psychiatry Branch of the Chinese Medical Association and associate editor of the Chinese version of COP, gave a keynote speech on "Sleep in Patients with Schizophrenia", pointing out that 80% of patients with schizophrenia have sleep and circadian rhythm disorders, and sleep should be paid attention to during the treatment of patients with schizophrenia improve.
Professor Li Yi, member of the Psychiatry Branch of the Chinese Medical Association and editorial board member of the Chinese version of COP, gave a keynote speech on the "chain of essence", sharing the "impression" of schizophrenia, the "chain" of etiology and the "practice" of learning and understanding 3 This special topic vividly introduces the latest research progress in the field of schizophrenia.
At the end of the meeting, Prof. Hao Wei concluded that the goal of schizophrenia treatment is rehabilitation, and emphasis is placed on sleep management. At the same time, schizophrenia faces many challenges that need to be solved by all psychiatrists.
